Sea Surface Temperature (SST) in the North Pacific (NP) has experienced a regime shift in 2013/14, with a significant increase in the annual mean SST.

Not related to PDO and IPO, but Victoria Mode, which is defined as the second EOF mode of the annual mean SST in the NP, and is characterized by a horseshoe pattern of SST anomalies.
